Make Space for Grief
I help young adults and adults navigate grief related to death of a loved one, loss of a job or relationship, or receiving a life-changing diagnosis or impactful life change. Whether you are struggling to sort through a loved one’s belongings, plan ways to memorialize or honor your loved one or life change, or just stuck with daily life tasks, grief coaching can help provide support and practical, bite-sized steps forward.
As a grieving daughter, granddaughter, and friend, I know that grief is not linear or just sadness. Grief is not limited to loss of family members and is not just about death. Also, grief, and grief support, is not limited to new or recent losses. Grief can come and go (often unexpectantly), can be cyclical, and can feel like a tangled ball of emotions, memories, and experiences.
Through my experiences navigating the early death of my mother, as well as the deaths of family members and friends (and other life changes), I leaned into various forms of support, education, and activities to understand and process my grief, and to address emotional and practical issues related to grief.
I gained insights on how to find a new normal and live a full life with grief,
which is an ongoing process, since grief isn’t fixed or binary.
Grief coaching focuses on the specific needs of each individual client.
