How Can We Work Together?
-
With a complimentary 20-minute consultation call. This will give us the opportunity to learn more about one another and the ways I can help you reach your goals. From there, we’ll discuss paperwork, pricing, and scheduling your first full session!
-
Much like a sports coach, I’m here to guide you, make suggestions, offer support and words of encouragement, hold you accountable, show you a different perspective, and offer resources and strategies for growth. Together, we will figure out how you prefer and need to be coached.
-
Our executive function skills allow us to plan, organize, and manage our thoughts and actions. I define EF into the following 10 skills:
Planning
Organization
Time Management
Task Initiation
Working Memory
Metacognition
Self-Control
Sustained Attention
Flexibility
Perseverance

Coaching is appropriate for anyone with the desire and openness to learn new skills or make a change. I work with teens, young adults (18+), adults (30-60+), and families or organizations with neurodivergent members (i.e., someone with ADHD, ASD, LD, anxiety); however, no diagnosis is necessary. I am also passionate about working with women and those in the LGBTQ+ community.
-
Coaching is 1:1 sessions via video call or in-person. Sessions start at 50-minutes, once a week. This frequency and format will change depending on your needs and preferences. In each session, we will discuss practical next steps towards your individualized goal.
-
In addition to my undivided attention in our sessions, we will stay in-touch between sessions via text, quick call, email, shared GoogleDoc, or a shared app. Support and follow-up is individualized to your needs and could include texts/emails with your “homework” or next steps. I will also provide suggested resources, when applicable, like books to read or relevant podcasts to listen to. Finally, I am available to sit with you for co-working (aka body double) sessions online to give you accountable time to get things done and work towards your goals.
-
Neurodiversity-affirming and LGBTQ+-affirming coaching means creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you are accepted as you are, while also helping you build practical skills and strategies that work for your individual needs.
Rather than trying to “fix” differences in how you think, learn, communicate, or experience the world, affirming coaching focuses on understanding your strengths and challenges and finding approaches that work with your brain and your life. An affirming approach benefits all clients and is important because, like me, many people have spent years feeling like they are “doing it wrong” or need to change who they are. Coaching should instead help you build confidence, independence, and skills while celebrating the small wins along the way.
